I had not read anything since the spring. I am truly impressed, and I am passing it on to those I think would be interested.

Since I have not been commenting all along, I'll enter a few comments on what stands out to me.

1) When I read "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly," I couldn't believe you didn't give up right then and there. Your a trooper!

2) Your web links to the Trek bike website in "#%$^&@!!!" made me chuckle.

3) While reading "The Fence" I couldn't help but LOL seeing that you linked to MSNBC's article on people hating there jobs.

4) And last but not least,
GOD BLESS THE UU'S!!!
I knew there was a few reasons why Dave and I have talked about joining that church.

You are truly brave and inspirational. Gerry has been telling me how great the blog is, and now I know why. I can't wait until the next post! Please email me your snail mail address as soon as you have a minute.

Love, Kelly
giraffe4magic@aim.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03251637349342050803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4204580867571652472.post-68691514684991412732007-11-28T11:22:00.000-05:002007-11-28T11:22:00.000-05:00Hey Jenga,Hit me up when you get a chance. I'm coming to N.O. soon.

mtume_s@yahoo.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4204580867571652472.post-59220332990915590512007-11-28T11:20:00.000-05:002007-11-28T11:20:00.000-05:00I remember reading something about that confidence...I remember reading something about that confidence thing, Jenga. It was a book or article or something where they talked about why some people fail and others don't. (It was more about big projects or lifework...but I supposed the concept is the same.) They said exactly what you said: that confidence frees the mind from worry and allows all that wasted energy to be channeled into something useful. Like succeeding. Good post.

Mtume.

P.S. Congratulations on all your progress. And don't turn into too much of a man. You might love the men, yes you do, but we love the women. The last thing we need in this world is more man-thinking! Look where that's gotten us in the Middle East.

Anyway, keep on rocking....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4204580867571652472.post-27844346698810655052007-11-27T16:53:00.000-05:002007-11-27T16:53:00.000-05:00hey woman, after our chat earlier and reading this,...hey woman,

after our chat earlier and reading this, i am once again inspired to being again. we talk a lot about what we want to and you are doing it. you are indeed a superwoman.GaBrilla Ballardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01640067473134251236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4204580867571652472.post-35508321101133070412007-11-27T16:52:00.000-05:002007-11-27T16:52:00.000-05:00hey woman, after our chat earlier and reading this,...hey woman,

after our chat earlier and reading this, i am once again inspired to being again. we talk a lot about what we want to and you are doing it. you are indeed a superwoman.GaBrilla Ballardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01640067473134251236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4204580867571652472.post-86973874491112650712007-11-27T15:09:00.000-05:002007-11-27T15:09:00.000-05:00Jenga,Your accomlishments inspire me. The FHA-loan process means we won't be able to put in much sweat-equity, but we are trying to round up some volunteers to gut the house in preparation for its renovation. We also have to install new gutters and downspouts. Looks like we could learn a thing or two from you. Congrats on so much progress made...

SarahSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04650558064221962109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4204580867571652472.post-87363150751499354752007-11-27T15:05:00.000-05:002007-11-27T15:05:00.000-05:00LOL @ 'turning into a man' - you are a nut. it is ...LOL @ 'turning into a man' - you are a nut. it is really liberating doing stuff around the house for self - i feel this even when we just install a laundry tub or turn a closet into a turntable nook... with the amount of work you are doing you must continually feel like superwoman. i'm so proud for you and excited about the progress you've made! things are looking great. oh and GREAT news about the cabinetry! :-Djamyla / oyin mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05233835483111405502noreply@blogger.com
